VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are a valuable resource who perform meaningful assignments to support staff and visitors to the museum, contributing to the overall experience of museum visitors. Friends of the Capitol Park Museum have numerous opportunities for volunteers to contribute to the cultural life of Baton Rouge. They also assist with public outreach to help achieve the museum’s mission. Volunteers are trained and work with staff on a variety of projects during the workday, evenings and weekends.
